The 2025 Bolivar Peninsula Golf Cart Poker Run was originally organized to benefit our local schools and volunteer fire departments. Following the devastating floods in the Texas Hill Country, our local recipients made the extraordinary decision to donate 100% of their shares to the schools and fire departments serving those affected communities.

Why we do it

We are so honored to be a part of this wonderful community where so many local citizens, local businesses and those from out of town gather for this one-day family fun event to support our local heroes.

In the last three years, we have raised over $100,000 and present these funds to our local schools, brave volunteer firefighters, and other local community projects.
